Dhanusha, Nov 19 : Two persons died and 20 others were injured in a tractor accident occurred at Belapatti of Bideha Municipality-7 in Dhanusha district last night.
According to the District Police Office, Dhanusha, the deceased are 60-year-old Ram Dayal Raya Yadav and Ambika Devi, 45, from Sitamadhi of Bihar, India.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Jitendra Kumar Basnet said that the Indian nationals were travelling by the tractor to observe the Bhoot Mela (celebration) in Kamala river near the bordering area of Dhanusha and Siraha districts.
The injured passengers are receiving treatment in Province Hospital in Janakpur. Police stated that condition of some passengers is critical.
