Kathmandu, Apr. 9: Chairperson of the CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal has pointed out the importance of socialism for development and prosperity of the people and country.
Socialist economy should be made vibrant to realise wishes of people to prosper the country while ensuring social justice, equality and people's rights, argued the former Prime Minister at a mass meeting organised in the Capital City on Saturday by the party's Kathmandu District Committee.
Similarly, party's Honoured Leader and former Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal stressed the need for a socialist revolution to complete the remaining tasks of ensuring people's fundamental rights to food, accommodation and clothing.
He also urged people to cast their vote for the Unified Socialist having 'pen' as the party's election symbol.
