Kathmandu, Oct. 26: CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli has directed the party cadres to prepare for upcoming elections to be held in the federal, provincial and local levels.
Inaugurating the UML's local level convention through virtual means on Tuesday, Chairman Oli asked the party rank and file to work for polls adding that the country now has moved forward to elections though the date was not announced.
UML won't backtrack from the multiparty democracy and the party will win people's mandate in the polls, the former prime minister claimed.
He was of the view that the UML should emerge victorious for the cause of democracy, constitution, and nationality.
Oli also appealed to the party cadres to remain active for party activities with the confidence to get a victory.
