Seoul, July 26 : Regional chairperson of NRNA South Korea, Madan Bhujel passed away due to cardiac arrest. Bhujel had collapsed while taking rest after playing football with his colleagues on Saturday evening.
Bhujel was rushed to a hospital after he fell unconscious. The hospital pronounced him dead during treatment on Sunday morning.
In the recently held regional convention of the NRNA Korea, he was elected the chair of Chungnam regional committee.
The NRNA Korea has officially confirmed the passing away of Bhujel and also released a condolence message on his demise.
Noting that Bhujel demise has caused an irreparable loss to the NRNA Korea and the swearing-in ceremony of newly-elected office-bearers of NRNA has been put off until another notice.
Bhujel has been residing in South Korea for the last 12 years. Presently his wife and offspring are in Nepal. His lifeless body has been kept in the nearby hospital for now, Korean police confirmed.
