By Chhabi Pandey, Butwal, Aug. 3: A no-confidence motion has been registered against Lumbini Province Chief Minister Shankar Pokharel.
The provincial assembly members of the opposition alliance including the Nepali Congress filed the no-confidence motion against CM Pokharel on Tuesday, a day after demanding to form a new government before the Province Chief as per Article 168 (2).
The no-confidence proposal has been signed by 34 members from Nepali Congress, NCP (Maoist Centre), Janata Samajwadi Party-Nepal and Rashtriya Janamorcha Party, proposing Kul Prasad KC of Maoist Centre as the CM.
