By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov. 23: Nepal Bar Association has decided to carry out a march past from Supreme Court to Baluwatar on Thursday.
NBA Chair Chandeshwar Shrestha informed that the march past will be held at 2 pm on Thursday and that civil society members would also join in the protest event.
The umbrella organization of the lawyers in the country has been carrying out protest events including sit-ins at the SC demanding resignation of Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana.
NBA Chair Shrestha added that the NBA will also hold sit-in protest events at 18 high courts across the country.
The NBA had only Monday submitted a memorandum to Speaker Agni Sapkota and deputy leader of the parliamentary party of the CPN (UML) Subash Chandra Nembang for initiating a process to impeach CJ Rana.
