Kathmandu, Dec. 7: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has added two weekly flights to Dubai.
Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Prem Bahadur Ale officially launched the flights amidst a press conference on Sunday.
With these additions, the NAC will now operate nine flights a week to the Gulf destination, including morning flights. As informed by Ubaraj Adhikari, executive chairman of the Corporation, the schedule of the two added flights have been devised in such a way that they will depart Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu at 11.15 am and return at 9.20 pm the same day. Before this, the Corporation only offered evening flights to Dubai.
According to the latest flight schedule released by the NAC, the morning flights are available on Sundays and Wednesdays while the evening flights are available every day of the week.
The national flag carrier flies to nine international destinations – Delhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai (India), Bangkok (Thailand), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Doha (Qatar), Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Hong Kong (China) and Narita (Japan).
