Lalitpur, Apr. 7: Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Pampha Bhusal has appealed to the private sector to help build a prosperous Nepal while remaining committed to socialism based on democratic values.
Inaugurating the second annual general assembly of the Lalitpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry here today, Minister Bhusal reiterated the government's goal for economic development by adopting a three-pillar economy policy by forging partnerships between government and private sectors.
Bhusal commended the contribution of the Chamber to the country's economy and extended her best wishes for the Chamber to further contribute to the growth of the country's economy.
Similarly, Nepal Chamber of Commerce president Rajendra Malla expressed his confidence that the government would address the problems of the private sector and pledged collaboration with the government.
Lalitpur chamber's president Pushpa Ratna Shakya demanded that the Chamber be represented in the local and central government units.
