By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov. 18: The Central Bureau of Statics (CBS) has made it clear that Lipulekh and Limpiyadhura will not be left out in the population census.
The CBS highlighted that number of people in the 320 households of Gunji, Kuti and Nabhi of Byas Rural Municipality-1 in Darchula district will be recorded.
Dhundi Raj Lamichhane, chief of the statistics section of the CBS, said that preparations were made to conduct a population census of the Kalapani and Lipulek area of Darchula district which borders with India after being clear with the government on the related issues.
The CBS has urged all to cooperate with the enumerators as it is against the interest of the nation to unhelp them.
Issuing a statement on Thursday, the CBS has objected to the mistreatment and disrespect meted out to the enumerators for the population census by different organisations.
