Kathmandu, Nov. 27: The meeting of Nijgadh International Airport High-Level Facilitation Committee has decided to discuss the investment modality for the Nijgadh International Airport within a week.
The committee’s meeting held here Friday in coordination of Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai decided towards this end.
Discussion would be held with the Ministry of Finance besides the consultations with the Ministry of Forest and Environment, Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Aviation, Investment Board for which Nepal Civil Aviation Authority will be the coordinator.
After that an annual action-plan would be formulated and presented in the next meeting, it was shared.
The meeting also decided to follow up on the Ministry of Forest and Environment about the implementation of the Committee’s previous decision to cut down as many as 4,232 trees that were already counted for making a space for airport construction.
