Sindhupalchok, May 21: Jugal Rural Municipality of Sindhupalchok has decided to arrange health insurance to the health workers who are working in the forefront of the national campaign for the prevention and control of COVID-19 pandemic. The health insurance of Rs 1 million is managed in view of the crisis.
The meeting of the Rural Municipality on Wednesday decided to manage the insurance of one million rupees to each health worker if he or she is infected with COVID-19, said Municipality Chair Hom Narayan Shrestha.
The Rural Municipality also decided to adopt standard measures for safe quarantines.
