By Laxman Poudel, Bhairahawa, Nov. 10: An Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) died of COVID-19 in Rupandehi on Tuesday morning.
She used to work in Madhuwani Health Post at Sanskritik Municipality of the district. She was actively working in the health service for more than 20 years.
After contracting the novel coronavirus, she was receiving treatment at Bhim Hospital of Bhairahawa.
This is the first COVID-19 related death case of a health worker recorded in Rupandehi.
