By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov. 12: The government has decided to bear all the expenses required for the treatment of former Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of Rastriya Janamorcha Chitra Bahadur KC.
"In the meeting of the Council of Ministers held today morning, the government took the decision to this effect," informed Ghanashyam Bhusal, minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development.
Chairman KC has been receiving treatment in Mediciti Hospital, Lalitpur after testing positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday. The party has informed that KC is out of danger for now.
He was brought to Kathmandu from Bhairahawa on Tuesday after he started to show symptoms of COVID-19 including cough, cold and fever.
Meanwhile, minister Bhusal informed that the meeting of the Council of Ministers had also made regular decisions regarding the transfer and promotion of few government officials.
"The meeting focused on discussing measures to overcome the problems caused by COVID-19 pandemic, resolving the farmers' problems relating to fertilisers. However, no significant decisions have been made," said minister Bhusal.
