Kathmandu, April 10: The price of gold exceeded Rs 100 thousand in the domestic market today.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the fine gold was traded at Rs 100,300 per tola (11.66 grams) today, following a rise of Rs 800 compared to the previous trading day (Friday). Gold and silver outlets remain closed on Saturday.
Likewise, the price for worked gold was fixed at Rs 99,800 per tola today. The rise for worked gold is also Rs 800 per tola today.
Similarly, the price of silver increased by Rs 10 per tola today to be set at Rs 1,365. The Federation is the authorized body for fixing the price of gold and silver in the domestic market being based on the international value.
