Karnali, March 9 : Four assistant professors including the Programme Director of School of Law of Midwestern University have resigned en masse.
Director Arjun Bahadur Ayedi, assistant professors Sujan Panta, Mahesh Kumar Shahi and Sujata Manandhar resigned on Sunday by expressing their serious reservation to treatment from the university vice-chancellor and registrar over the result announcement for new admission for Bachelor’s of Law for the academic year 2077/078 BS.
The four have accused the university vice-chancellor and registrar of defaming their professional integrity, morality, impartiality and capacity for no reason.
Prior to this, students sitting for BA.LLB entrance examinations had lodged an application at the Office of the Registrar citing foul play in the written and oral tests.
Likewise, Registrar Prof Dr Narayan Prasad Poudel said that the complaints filed by the students over the entrance tests are being reviewed.
