Prachanda, senior leaders Madhav Kumar Nepal and Jhal Nath Khanal, vice chairman Bam Dev Gautam and party’s spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha had reached the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar for the meeting.
Before heading to Baluwatar, they held an informal meeting at the Dhumbarahi-based party’s headquarters, said Prime Minister’s Press Advisor Surya Thapa.
Thapa said though the meeting was scheduled to be held at 9:00 am, the five party leaders reached Baluwatar only at 12:00 in the noon.
Bishnu Sapkota, press advisor of Prachanda, said that Prachanda, Nepal, Khanal, Gautam and Shrestha held the meeting with Prime Minister Oli for two hours.
They asked the Prime Minister to abide by the procedure, calling party secretariat meeting to resolve all the disputes, Sapkota added.
At the meeting, Prime Minister Oli informed that he would call the meeting after consultation, said Sapkota.
Earlier on Friday, Prachanda called an informal meeting of the party’s Secretariat, which was attended only by five members who reached Baluwatar today.
