By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct 11: Prof. Dr. Govinda KC has ended his 28-day long fast-unto-death protest today following an eight-point agreement with the government last night.
Dr. KC drank juice offered by a sanitation worker, Bikas Nepali, at TU Teaching Hospital to end his protest.
It is the 19th time that Dr. KC staged the non-violence protest calling for improvement in parciularly medical education.
The government talks team led by Gopinath Mainali, secretary of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and the representatives of Dr. KC had reached the eight point pact last night.
