Kathmandu, Nov 12: The Central Committee (CC) meeting of the ruling CPN (Maoist Centre) is being convened today.
The virtual meeting is scheduled to start at 6:00 pm and the party's statute amendment and other contemporary issues would be discussed, according to the party's central office secretary Shreeram Dhakal.
As the central committee members are out of the Kathmandu Valley, the meeting is being organised virtually. Currently, the Maoist Centre has focused its activities on party membership distribution, membership renewal and organisational strengthening.
As part of the party's national conference, the party has expedited the preparatory works for the ward, local and province level conferences.
The national conference of the Maoist Centre is being held in Kathmandu from December 26 to 28.
