Butwal, Aug 28 : A coronavirus infected person died in course of treatment at Corona Treatment Special Hospital, Butwal, under Lumbini Provincial Hospital this morning.
A 60-year-old person of Tilottama municipality-4 of Rupandehi died at 2:30 am, said Information Officer of the Hospital, Dr Bishnu Gautam, issuing a press release today.
Gautam said the deceased was admitted at the hospital on August 23 after he tested positive for coronavirus. Also suffering from high blood pressure, he was undergoing treatment in ventilator. Three COVID-19 infected persons lost their lives within last 24 hours. With this, number of people died from coronavirus infection has reached eight in Rupandehi.
