Myagdi, Nov 16 Construction of Mistrikhola hydropower project at Annapurna Rural Municipality-4 in Myagdi district has reached its final phase.
Construction works of embankments, canal and other activities of the 42-MW project has been almost concluded, the project officials said.
Consultant of the project, Engineer Diwakar Khadka, said that overall 98 per cent of the construction works of the project were completed.
He added test of different equipment like turbine and generator installed at the powerhouse is underway.
The construction activities of the project were started from June 13, 2016. The powerhouse of the project has been constructed on the bank of Kali Gandaki River located at Besigaun of Narchyang.
