Although efforts have been underway to establish peace in the world, the United States has now formed a new military alliance with Britain and Australia to counter China. China has a long history of fighting wars mercilessly. However, the country has suffered much in the recent past.

It may be relevant here to mention that China faced first and second opium wars. The country also suffered invasions from different sides which forced the Chinese people to reel from poverty and unrest. In course of time, Chinese people stood up, defeating the domestic reactionaries and foreign aggressors. They started their work with fresh idea and technology. They set up industries of various types and began producing clothes for themselves as well as for the poor living worldwide.

Now, they are selling clothes and technology at a moderate price to the world. Today, a Chinese shopkeeper sells a feeding bottle for a baby in a rich country for US$ 1 while the rich countries sell the similar bottle they produced for more than US$ 10. That is the difference between a Chinese product and the product of the Western countries. At home, China has also lifted millions of poor out of the poverty.
If the superpower of the past, Great Britain, which has long history of occupying North America, and expanding colonial rule in the East, joins hands with the USA for the purpose of containing China, it will certainly destabilise the world order.

No doubt, the USA is the superpower in many respects. It is superpower militarily and from the point of natural resources. This is because the country is still virgin in natural resources in Alaska and other parts. It boasts of housing world-famous technological giants like Google, Amazon, Facebook and Apple. It is the leader in the production of the weapons of various types. So, the US economy accounts for almost 25 per cent of the world’s economy.

Australia is also a developed nation with sufficient natural resources and vast areas of land. If these three powerful countries make an alliance, it must be called an extra-superpower alliance. If they combine their resources for the cause of making the world a better place, they will be successful. As the second account of creation in Genesis (Bible) says, ‘And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils and breath of life; and man become a living soul’.

As Lord God made man and the world easily, the extra-superpower alliance can eradicate poverty from the world as China has accomplished. They can resolve refugee problems in Afghanistan, Syria, African and the rest of the world. They can solve the food crisis and check pollution of the mother planet easily.

But, if the extra-superpowers brace to contain China, as they have declared, it will certainly bring a bad luck to the world’s poor. This is because China might be forced to focus on arms race either by stopping producing clothes and feeding bottles or it will increase the price of ready-made clothes, goods, and technology considerably. In both cases, the poor people of Asia, Europe, America and Africa will die of shivering cold. If China will confront with the extra-powers, it would trigger the World War III, which would be quite devastating. So, US President Joe Biden has declared the Asia-Pacific alliance as dreadful in every respect.
