By A Staff Reporter, Kathmandu, Apr. 1: Buddha Air is conducting one additional flight from Kathmandu to Bhairahawa and Nepalgunj.
"Due to road expansion works at Butwal-Narayangadh section of the East-West Highway, the journey to Butwal and western Nepal from Kathmandu is being disturbed at times, so the company has added one/one flight to Bhairahawa and Nepalgunj," the company said in a statement.
With this, there will be daily nine flights to Bhairahawa from Kathmandu and five flights to Nepalgunj. Likewise, the company is adding one flight to Dhangadhi as well.
Buddha Air has added an ATR-72 aircraft to its fleets a while ago. Another aircraft will be added in May 2020, said Rupesh Joshi, Marketing Director of the company.
With the addition, the airlines company will have 14 planes to its fleet – nine ATR-72, three ATR-42 and two Beachcraft.
Buddha Air is conducting flights to Bhadrapur, Tumlingtar, Rajbiraj, Janakpur, Simara, Bharatpur, Pokhara, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj, Surkhet and Dhangadhi. It is also conducting flights to Bhairahawa and Chitwan from Pokhara. It operates mountain flights as well.
