Kathmandu, May 28: Arghakhanchi Cement Private Limited has built a well-facilitated health post in Mainahiya of Siyari Rural Municipality – 2 in Rupandehi district.
Health and Population Minister of Lumbini Province Bhoj Prasad Shrestha and Director of Arghakhanchi Cement Rajesh Kumar Agrawal jointly inaugurated the building of the health post on Wednesday.
The company has handed over the building with necessary health facility like health consultation, x-ray and blood pressure measurement.
According to it, about Rs. 7 million was invested in the facility.
Minister Shrestha said that the health post would be managed in a way that it could help people of Mainahiya and in controlling the COVID-19 pandemic.
Likewise, Agrawal said that the health post would end the obligation of people to go to other villages and nearby cities for basic health care services. He said that the building was built as per the Corporate Social Responsibility of the company.
Construction work for the building was started in December last year and the company had said to complete it in a year.
