By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec. 8: The joint meeting of all political parties represented in the federal parliament has kicked off at the Prime Minister's residence, Baluwatar.
Surya Thapa, press advisor to the PM, informed that the meeting began at 11:30 am. "The meeting was called to hold discussions about the unconstitutional and violent events going on in recent times by anti-republican forces which have posed threat to democracy," said press advisor Thapa.
Likewise, discussions about the political achievements, problems caused by COVID-19 pandemic and measures to control the spread of the virus will also be held in the meeting, added Thapa.
Representatives of the ruling Nepal Communist Party, main opposition Nepali Congress, Janata Samajhwadi Party, Rastriya Prajatantra Party and Janamorcha Party among others are present in the meeting.
