By Siraj Khan, Nepalgunj, Nov. 12: A 32-year-old female of Kaushilan Nagar, Kohalpur Municipality-1 succumbed to the novel coronavirus infection in Banke on Thursday morning.
According to the District COVID-19 Crisis Management Center, the female was receiving treatment at Nepalgunj Medical College, Kohalpur.
According to the center, she had tested positive for COVID-19 on November 11.
"The hospital informed that her life couldn’t be saved despite using all kinds of supportive treatment methods including antibiotics and oxygen," said Naresh Shrestha, focal person of the center.
According to Shrestha, Banke has now recorded 36 COVID-19 related deaths and 41 patients in serious health conditions are receiving treatment in Bheri Hospital and Nepalgunj Medical College.
