By Chhetu Sherpa, Kathmandu, April 9: This spring, 204 climbers from 42 countries, including Russia, will climb Mt. Everest.
According to the Department of Tourism, a team of 204 people, including 14 from Russia, had obtained permission to climb Mt. Everest.
The countries with the highest number of climbers are 51 from the USA, 25 from the UK, 15 from India, 11 from Canada, 11 from Nepal, 10 from Australia and nine from China.
Of the climbers, 46 are women and 158 are men.
