Stop illegal import of mushroom: Farmers

Mushroom Producer Farmers Association has demanded control of the illegal import of mushroom in Nepal. “Recently, mushroom is being imported from various markets in India and other countries by using chemicals that prevents the produce from being damaged. Such mushroom is sold at many markets across the country,” the association said the other day demanding a strong monitoring of imports at the customs points and implement control measures to check the illegal imports.

Gautam Buddha Int'l Airport ready for test flight

The construction work of Gautam Buddha International Airport, in Bhairahawa, a national pride project, has been completed. After completing all the work under ICB-1 and ICB-2, the airport is now waiting for the test flights. According to the Airport Expansion Project (AEP), the sooner the test flight is completed, the sooner the airport will be operational.
