Domestic flights resume with 70% occupancy on first day

Domestic flights have resumed from Monday after the suspension of around five months. The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Monday confirmed COVID-19 related deaths. This is the highest number of fatalities confirmed in Nepal in a single day. With this, Nepal's COVID-19 death toll has reached 427 and the death rate stands at 0.7 per cent.

674 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Kathmandu Valley

The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Monday confirmed 674 new cases of COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley. Of the 674 new cases, 538 cases including 213 females and 325 males were detected in Kathmandu, 74 cases including 30 females and 44  males were found in Bhaktapur and 63 cases including 31 females and males each were recorded in Lalitpur.
