Govt to bring single-window system on foreign trade

The government is to introduce ‘Nepal National Single Window System’ to facilitate international trade by linking import and export with customs from next week. In a programme organised at the Ministry of Finance, Department of Customs informed that a single-window system will be introduced in the Department of Food Technology and Quality Control, Department of Animal Services and Plant Quarantine Centre from next week.

NHRC urges for immediate payment to sugarcane farmers

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has urged the government to help clear the due payment of sugarcane farmers as per the agreement made with them.
