IBN begins evaluation of four infrastructure projects

Four large infrastructure projects – Muktinath Cable Car, Damak Industrial Park, Private Freight Terminal and Bulk Handling Facilities in Birgunj and Bhairahawa, and Multimodel Logistics Park in Biratnagar – have entered the evaluation process at the Investment Board of Nepal (IBN).

MoHP adds 83 more fatalities to COVID-19 death toll

The Ministry of Health and Population on Thursday added 83 more COVID-19 related fatalities to its death toll. Prior to this, the COVID-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC) under the Health Ministry had corrected the death toll in Nepal by adding 618 deaths.

The Ministry of Health and Population on Thursday confirmed 112 new cases of COVID-19, taking the nation's novel coronavirus tally to 273,872.

The government has started the upgradation of Narayangadh-Butwal section of East-West highway. Narayangadh-Butwal section road will be expand to four lane except 12 KM that lies Daunne of Nawalparasi east and Nawalparasi West. Due to geographical structure of Daunne the 12 KM section will be expand as three lane only.

Blacktopping of rural roads   

The blacktopping of the rural roads outside Beni bazaar has been going on in the district. The district which was connected to the national road network early in 2052BS had only few blacktopped sections as Beni bazaar, Beni-Galeshwor and Ratnechaur-Beni till recent time.
