Paddy cooperative earns millions  

The farmers of Kamalpur, who used to spend their leisure time in open space of the village, started keeping a small amount of paddy at home. As the number of farmers increased, each of 80 farmers has started keeping 25 kg seeds at their homes. Later, 50 kg of paddy was kept.

The team will reach the basecamp within three days, informed Babu Sherpa, Managing Director of the Peak Promotion Trekking Agency, the company that won the bid to clean the basecamp as announced by the Nepali Army (NA).

Ponds being constructed in Banke National Park

Massage parlor shootings in Atlanta leave 8 dead, man captured

Shootings at two massage parlors in Atlanta and one in the suburbs Tuesday evening left eight people dead, many of them women of Asian descent, authorities said. A 21-year-old man suspected in the shootings was taken into custody in southwest Georgia hours later after a manhunt, police said.
