Three wards of Nepalgunj now COVID-19 hotspots

Amid the daily surge in coronavirus cases in Banke, three wards of the Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City have become COVID-19 hotspots. According to Tej Oli, focal person of the District COVID-19 Crisis Management Centre, Banke, the virus has been spreading uncontrollably in Ward Nos. 10, 12 and 18.

Daily COVID-19 cases jump to 1,281, over 40% patients aged 20-30 years

The Ministry of Health and Population (MOHP) on Monday confirmed 1,281 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, which is the highest single day spike in the recent months. Of the new infected, 528 individuals are aged between 20 and 39 years.
