COVID-19 update: 2,202 new cases, 1,595 recoveries, 25 fatalities in 24 hours

In 8,836 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the past 24 hours, a total of 2,202 persons were found infected with SARS-CoV-2, informed the Ministry of Health and Population on Tuesday through its regular update.

Cimex Inc. has launched new BYD e6, a second generation electric car, in Nepali market. Equipped with 71.7kwh blade battery pack, e6 gives a range of 522km in a single charge making it the longest range electric vehicle in Nepal, said the company. Pratiman Neema Foundation imports COVID-19 relief materials

The second lot of COVID-19 relief materials arranged by Pratiman Neema Memorial Foundation (PNMF) have arrived in Nepal. The materials were brought to Nepal via a chartered flight from Washington DC on Sunday, with the support of Project HOPE, with partner organisations Airlink, Flexport.org, Henry Schein Cares, and MedShare. Swati Thapa, executive director of the foundation, informed that relief materials worth Rs. 80 million were brought to Nepal.
