Metros need few more days for garbage management

Even though trucks of garbage and containers are now on the move to dump Kathmandu’s waste which was piled for almost two weeks, the main chowks are yet to be cleaned.
It might take five to six days to manage the garbage left on the streets if the weather conditions remain dry, said chief of the Department of Environment of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Hari Kumar Shrestha.
