NA plays a central role in peacekeeping: DPM Pokharel

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence, Ishwar Pokharel, has praised the Nepal Army (NA) , saying it has played central role in peacekeeping.

Pact inked for diverting 170 million litres water to Kathmandu

Three dead in road mishaps

Seven-year-old Prajjwal Gurung died on the spot after a bus (Na 2 Kha 5057) en route of Talti from Malekhu hit the boy. The Deputy Superintendent of Police of district police office Rupak Khadka said police have impounded the bus while the driver fled the scene.

An information techno hub has come into operation in Dhangadhi sub-metropolis-17. Dhangadhi mayor Nripa Wod and Canadian government representative Janet Yates on Wednesday inaugurated the operation of techno hub for fostering public sector accountability in the sub-metropolis.    

Lower House passes bill to regulate radio refractive substances

The bill was presented by Minister for Education, Science and Technology Giriraj Mani Pokhrel in the meeting, seeking its endorsement. It got the acceptance by the session with majority.
