Rs 260 million for sapling nursery  

The Tanahun Hydro Project which is under construction at Jhaputar of Rishing Rural Municipality has provided Rs 260 million to the Division Forest Office.

Syangja Assistance Society provides two ambulances in district 

Syangja Help Society Kuwait has donated two ambulances- one each to Chapakot Municipality and Harinas Rural Municipality in the district.    

NRNA Korea chapter provides PCR kits to Sudurpaschim State 

The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) South Korea chapter has provided PRC kits for the Sudurpaschim State. NRNA Korea Chapter's executive director Rajesh Rana today handed 2,500 kits to Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies who also represents Kailali, the district in the State, in the House of Representatives.    

Investment Board accepts Rs 185 billion for seven projects  

Investment Board has accepted seven projects equivalent to Rs 185.43 billion. The Board's 44th meeting held on Friday accepted the investment for five hydropowers and two related to cement industries. The meeting was held under the chair of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.    

Youth swept away by river found dead  

A youth who had gone missing five days ago after being swept away by a river has been found dead this morning. The deceased has been identified as 17-year-old Ram Bahadur Rai from Khotang district. He was a daily wage worker and had been staying with his

  Mid-hill highway obstructed 

The Parbat-Baglung road along the Mid-hill highway has been obstructed by landside. The road remains closed for traffic since this morning after a landslide in Sahasradhara in ward no. 1 of Kusma municipality.    

Government urges people to stay indoors, unless essential   

The government has requested people to not venture out of their homes unnecessarily. The COVID-19 crisis management centre (CCMC) has requested people to mandatorily wear a mask while going out, and maintain physical distancing.    

COVID-19: 58 new cases confirmed in Gandaki  

Gandaki State has confirmed 58 new cases of Corona Virus today. According to latest update by the State Health Directorate released this morning, of them 25 are from Tanahu, 16 from Nawalpur, eight from Baglung, five from Gorkha, two from Kaski and one each from Myagdi and Syangja.    

District headquarters sealed off  

The Dadeldhura district headquarters has been sealed off for an indefinite period after the rate of Corona Virus infection continued to rise exponentially.
