Three fear dead, three injured in landslide   

Three people feared dead in the landslide that occurred at Besishahar municiplaity-7 in Lamjung district.     Police confirmed that local Depak Tamang, 33, Chhewang Tamang, 9, and Bimaya Tamang, 26, lost their lives when the landslide gushed into Deepak's house at around 11.45 last night.  

Death toll in Sarangkot landslide reaches seven    

Death toll in the landslide occurred at Sarangkot in Pokhara Metropolitan City-18 has reached seven.     The deceased have been identified as Tanka Bahadur Thapa, 50, his wife Sommaya Thapa, 45, 11-year-old Ishika Thapa, six-year-old Suwan Thapa and right-year-old Shital Shrestha of Damauli, Tanahun, according to the District Police Office.

Flood causes heavy damage to Middle Bhotekoshi hydel project

The dam of the project also suffered damage. Mayor of Bahrabise municipality, Nimphunjo Sherpa said that the flood has caused heavy damage to the project and activities are underway to retrieve the submerged goods and equipment of the project.

     Sindhupalchok flood: Number of people gone missing reaches 20   

Twenty people have gone missing in the flooding incident that occurred in Sindhupalchok district.     According to the District Police office, out of the missing people, 16 are from Bahrabise municipality and four from Bhotekoshi rural municipality.

Bharatpur Hospital which is treating coronavirus infected people of Chitwan and its surrounding areas has also started providing dialysis service to coronavirus infected kidney patients.    

  Monsoon activities to intensify for four days   

Monsoon activities will likely intensify from today until Sunday, the Meteorological Forecasting Division has said.     Meteorologist Pratibha Manandhar said there was the possibility of increased monsoon activities in the next four days due to the location of the monsoon low pressure system near the Tarai region of Nepal.

Helicopter carrying Speaker Sapkota returns from Dhulikhel

A team led by Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota has returned to Kathmandu due to bad weather.     The team was travelling to Sindhupalchowk to take note of the damages caused by floods in the district. The team travelling on a Nepal Army helicopter returned from Dhulikhel before reaching Bahrabise due to adverse weather condition, according to the Speaker's press advisor Sridhar Neupane.
