Foundation stone laid for three motorable bridges on same day   

Gandaki Province Government has laid foundation stone for three motorable bridges at Modi rural municipality of Kaski district at the same time.   

     Light snowfall forecast due to Westerly wind influence 

The sky at most of the places of the country would remain partly to generally cloudy while some places of high-hilly and mountainous areas would experience light snowfall today due to the influence of the Westerly wind.    

  Cheetah taken under control  

A Cheetah has been trapped and taken under control in the community forest in Bhanu municipality-2 this morning. The Cheetah will now be safely translocated, said assistant forest officer Suresh Kumar Bhujel.

  Three missing after van plunges into Trishuli 

Three people on their way to Kathmandu from Pyuthan have gone missing after the pick-up van that they were travelling in fell into the Trishuli river. The incident took place at Icchyakamana rural municipality-4 at around 5:30 this morning, according to Area Police Office, Muglin.    

Farmers' demand for wheat seeds not met   

The Agriculture Inputs Company Limited Provincial Office in Hetauda has failed to meet the demand of the farmers for wheat seeds. The office however says that lack of storage to stock the seeds is the reason behind.

Chinese containers deliver consignment at Miteripul

Customs Office Chief at Tatopani, Lal Bahadur Khatri, said arrangement was now made to ferry the goods from Miteripul to dry port in Nepali containers. Earlier, the traders had been complaining of meagre import of goods via Tatopani border point.
