Sagarmatha National Park sees 99 percent drop in revenue collection  

The Sagarmatha National Park has witnessed an approximately 99 percent drop in revenue collection this year. It is due to sheer disruption in tourism activities in the wake of lockdown enforced to contain Covid-19 pandemic.    

CTCF to offer training for enhancing tea quality  

The Central Tea Cooperative Federation (CTCF) has decided to launch skill enhancement project for quality tea in 12 districts including Ilam. The project to be funded by the European Union will be managed by the British Council.    

Manohara River corridor works begin

Man killed in accident   

A man has died after being crushed by the same bus that he had been travelling in. The accident took place at Thalajung in Siranchowk rural municipality-2.    

799 HIV infected taking ART  

A total of 799 people infected with HIV/AIDS are taking regular Anti-retroviral Treatment in the district.

The Dakneswari municipality has provided financial support to the family of a person who was beaten to death.

Two more die in Kalanki truck mishap

  Two more people have died in the truck accident occurred at Kalanki on Friday evening. A body was found squashed while removing the truck from the accident site while another person died in course of treatment this morning, the Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu said.
