New dimension to be added in economic partnership with Bangladesh: Foreign Affairs Minister   

Minister for Foreign Affairs, Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, has said that the bilateral meeting and agreements held in course of President Bidya Devi Bhandari's ongoing state visit to Bangladesh would add a new dimension to economic partnership.

Girl dies as charging mobile phone explodes  

A 15-year-old girl in Achham district died after her mobile phone exploded while she was watching video by keeping it plugged into charging.     Information Officer of Sudurpaschim Province Police Office, Dipayal, and Senior Superintendent of Police Mukesh Kumar Singh said that Sapana Nath of Mangalsen Municipality-1 died in the incident.

One dead, many students injured in Dang school bus accident   

Chief of Area Police Office, Tulsipur, Shiva Bahadur Singh said that the bus (Ra 1Ka 433) carrying students of Tulsipur-based Gyan Joyti Secondary School got an accident at Saraiyadanda in Tuslipur Sub-Metropolitan-15, killing Samjhana KC.

NA Chairman Timilsina, Pakistani Envoy meet 

Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal Syed Haider Shah on Monday paid a courtesy call on National Assembly (CA) Chairman Ganesh Prasad Timilsina at the latter's office in Singha Durbar.     On the occasion, issues of bilateral relations and mutual interests were discussed, Chairman Timilsina's Secretariat said.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wajed of Bangladesh paid a courtesy call today on President Bidya Devi Bhandari who is on a two-day state visit to Bangladesh. The meeting was held at the Hotel InterContinental based in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.
