Province 2 Assembly summoned for Monday 

It is mandatory for the Province to ensure its regular session in a six months. According to PA Parliament Secretariat officiating secretary Ranjit Yadav, the fourth session of Province 2 was concluded on October 20.  

Parbat fire victims receive relief 

Fire victims at Saraukhola in Paiyu Rural Municipality-6 in Parbat district have received relief. Each of the victims, whose house and animal sheds were burnt down in a fire, received Rs 10,000, food items, clothes and tents.

Eight India-returnees test positive   

Eight people who had returned home from India have tested positive to Corona Virus. They were found infected in an antigen test carried out of 39 people who entered Nepal from the Jhulaghat transit point.    

452 to be decorated with medals on Baisakh 1   

President Bidya Devi Bhandari is to honour 452 persons with various decorations, titles and medals on the first day of New Year 2078.

19 injured in first day of Bisket Jatra   

Altogether 19 persons were injured in the Bisket jatra, a chariot pulling festival that began in Bhaktapur on Saturday.

One more arrested in bomb blast incident   

One more person has been arrested on the charge of involvement in the bomb blast that took place in the land revenue office in Lahan of Siraha. Ram Jatan Mukhiya, 20, a resident of Labakatol in ward no. 3 of Laxmipur Patari rural municipality, Siraha was arrested by Siraha police this morning.
