One dies from Covid-19 in Dhulikhel Hospital

A Covid-19 patient died this morning amidst the treatment at the Dhulikhel Hospital. A 37-year-old male from Kubinde of Sindhupalchowk was admitted to the hospital last Friday after he complained of health complications.

Karnali Province CM Shahi monitors provincial hospitals 

Chief Minister of Karnali Province Mahendra Bahadur Shahi has conducted a monitoring of hospitals in the province amid hospitals being flooded by Covid-19 patients.     CM Shahi, who also looks after the Ministry of Social Development, monitored and took stock of the situation of Province Hospital, Surkhet on Friday evening. He also conducted an inspection of isolation wards and inquired about health of the infected people, it has been said.   

Two Covid-19 infected women die in Kailali   

Two Covid-19 infected women have died in the past 24 hours. Of the deceased, a 59-year-old infected woman of Janaki Rural Municipality-3 died at Tikapur Hospital, according to the hospital management.    

ICU and ventilator service inaugurated

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Poudel carried out onsite visit of quarantine unit set up at Hetauda sub-metropolitan city-6 for coronavirus infected people. There are 120 beds in the unit, according to the District Health Office, Makawanpur.
