Locals urged to remain alert of natural disaster  

Rasuwa District Disaster Management Committee has urged the local residents to adopt precaution while moving to any places as the incessant rainfall has caused sporadic landslides in the district.    

Flood-fed Kaligandaki put Beni Bazaar at high risk of erosion   

Myagdi district headquarters, Beni Bazaar, has been at high risk of erosion with the flood-fed Kaligandaki washing away the embankment. 

Flood takes away under construction bridge 

The swollen Baudikhola (rivulet) of Nawalparasi (Bardaghat-Susta East) took away a bridge being constructed in Baudikali. Slab and beam of the under-construction bridge linking ward 1 and 2 of Baudikali rural municipality were swept away by the flood that took place after incessant rain since Monday evening.    

Three killed, 11 go missing in flood, landslide incidents across country

Three persons lost their lives and 11 others went missing in different districts of the country due to flood and landslide following incessant rainfall for the past few days.

Many villages in Lumbini Province flooded, dozens at risk

Properties worth thousands of rupees have been damaged, it has been said. Many other settlements at banks of various rivers including Kali Gandaki, Rapti, Badigad and Tinau are vulnerable to flooding. Dozens of settlements at Rapti river banks in Banke and Dang districts are at risk of being flooded.

Nepal Tarun Dal (NTD), the youth wing of the Nepali Congress, has asked all its office bearers and members to join hands for rescue and relief efforts for the people affected by flooding across the country.

Heavy rain forecast for three more days  

Heavy rainfall is predicted in most parts of the country for three days more, the Hydrology and Meteorological Forecasting Division said. It has indicated to the risk of flood and landslide at some places due to the much rainfall.     

Narayani River sees highest-ever water level

The surface of the Narayani River has reached the highest-ever point in history. The water level in the River reached 10.46 meters at 10.50 last night. The water current during the time had increased to 16,455,000 liter per second.
