A report on the 'Railway Bill, 2076 BS' has been tabled in the National Assembly today. President of the Legislation Management Committee, Parashuram Meghi Gurung presented the report in the meeting of the Upper House of the federal Parliament.

Govt approves new pay scale of employees

A meeting of the Council of Ministers held today took the decision to approve the new salary scale of all civil servants, Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, Nepal personnel, employees under the Nepal Health Service, Parliament Service, community schoolteachers and the employees of the province and local levels, government spokesperson and Minister for Law Gyanendra Bahadur Karki said.

UML central committee passes amended Statute

The CPN (UML) Central Committee meeting today has passed the amended Statute to be presented at the party's upcoming statute convention. According to party spokesperson Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, the amendment provides for the election of the chairperson and central committee members from the general convention and central office-bearers from the central committee.
