Guru Nanak Jayanti being marked 

The Guru Nanak Jayanti is being observed today by organising different programmes. Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism, was born in Punjab of present day Pakistan on the day of Kartik Shukla Purnima (the full moon day during the Nepali month of Kartik) in 1526 BS (1469 AD).    

Four persons including driver dead in Rolpa bus accident

Four people including the driver died and 19 others sustained injuries after a bus met with an accident at Madi Rural Municipality-4 Tarkebang in Rolpa district on Thursday evening.     The bus (Na 3 Kha 5518) en route to Thawang of Rolpa from Ghorahi of Dang district fell some 200 metres off the road killing three men and a woman, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP)Naresh Raj Subedi said that .    

Immunoglobulin service to be run in all seven provinces 

The Ministry of Health and Population is to operate the rabies immunoglobulin service from all seven provinces from November 21.
