Baitadi jeep accident: Death toll reaches five 

The death toll from the Baitadi jeep accident rose to five after the demise of Janaki Bhattarai, 40, of Patan municipality-1 while receiving treatment at Patan Primary Health Centre. The Kailapal-bound jeep (Se 1 Ja 888) from Patan Bazaar met with the accident at Sakar Thali in Patan municipality-1 on Monday evening killing four people on the spot, Chief of Area Police Office, Patan, Rajesh Shahi said.

Nepal Airlines permitted to carry dangerous goods

Regulatory body, Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal has granted permission letter for the transportation of dangerous goods. Earlier, the national flag carrier has been transporting dangerous goods by obtaining license for every three months. Now it has been provided with permanent license for the same.
