World Fisheries Day: 10,000 small fishes released to Fewa Lake 

As many as 10,000 small fishes were released to the Fewa Lake in Pokhara on the occasion of the World Fisheries Day-2019.     Keeping in mind the possible extinct of local and indigenous fishes due to invasion of imported species, the Fishery Research Centre Pokhara released fishes belonging to 'shahar' species to the lake on Thursday.    

Locals demand setup of ward office as per prior decision  

Locals of Dhangadhi sub-metropolis-7 demanded the setup of ward office upholding the prior official decision.     As many as 324 locals on Thursday submitted a memorandum to Dhangadhi sub-metropolis Mayor Nripa Bahadur Wad demanding construction of the ward office in the eastern part of Shiva Primary School in keeping with the previous decision.
