Rajbiraj, Sept 4: Schools in Rajbiraj will open from Sunday after the Saptari District Administration Office handed over the responsibility of running the school to the local level concerned.
A meeting of the District COVID-19 Crisis Management Committee chaired by Chief District Officer Jayanarayan Acharya had given the responsibility of opening or closing the schools to the local level. Accordingly, the Rajbiraj Municipality Municipal Education Committee issued a press release on Friday and decided to open the schools following the health standards from September 5.
A decision has been taken to run all the community and institutional schools at each level by fulfilling all the criteria related to health security against Corona Virus. A statement issued by Municipality's Section Officer Bhogendra Prasad Yadav has urged all schools operators to run the community and institutional schools from Grade 3 to Grade 12.
The school operators have been directed to operate the school from Sunday at different times depending on the number of students and by adopting the prescribed health protocol.
