Kathmandu, July 25: Monsoon is being active again from Monday. Most of the parts in the country will witness light to moderate rainfall with general to complete weather change the next day.

The low-pressure belt of monsoon is gradually moving towards the Tarai region, which will make the monsoon active in the country the next day, said senior meteorologist Barun Poudel.

"By the coming night, the monsoon trough arrives in Nepal's southern plains, causing the rainfall till Wednesday," he said, adding that one to two places in Bagmati Province will record heavy rainfall.

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology warned the people to remain alert for the rivers and streams would be flooded and landslides occurred in the hilly area.

Currently, some parts of Province-1, Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province are getting light rainfall.
