By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec. 1: A lottery system to fix benches and scheduling hearing of cases at the Supreme Court (SC) has come into effect from today.
Devendra Dhakal, information officer at the SC, informed that 217 cases are scheduled for hearing in the 11 benches that include two single benches through the lottery system today.
He said 18 justices have been present at the SC for hearing cases today, and the hearing has already started.
